RESEARCH
GATS, Inc. is composed of physicists, mathematicians, computer
scientists, engineers, chemists and management specialists who have
come together to create a vital resource for fellow scientists and
technical businesses. We began our work in 1986, writing software
and creating mathematical models for satellite remote sensing projects.
Since then we have expanded our capabilities to support nearly every
aspect of environmental and atmospheric science. Our areas of expertise
include instrument performance analysis, satellite instrument operation,
science data analysis, gas sampling and analysis, data visualization,
data system development and project management.

Our record of successful products includes world-renowned
radiative transfer software, novel calibration methods,
non-LTE atmospheric models, high-altitude retrieval algorithms
and advanced sensor designs. We support a variety of satellite
remote sensing instruments, including SABER, AIM,
CALIPSO and others. We developed state-of-the-art web-based
data access systems and managed major remote sensing projects.
Whether it be a complex instrument design or software for
mission operations, we deliver our systems and products
on time and within budget.
